Austin-based Reid’s Cleaners Ad

Anyone know who is responsible for this ad? It features singer-songwriter Erin Ivey. I think it’s a nice little ad.

It’s a nice song and the ad is fairly well done, but does it really make you want to take your clothes to the cleaners?

You’re kidding, right? There’s an old saying, “if you don’t have anything to say, sing it.”It’s badly written, badly shot and badly staged. And on top of that, there is NO idea. What a piece of crap. Can we get someone running this blog who has actually BEEN in advertising?Bunch of advertising wanna be’s…

Haven’t seen the ad, but was in a Reid’s this morning and saw the new poster promoting the “10 Reason’s” to take your clothes to Reid’s. It’s embarrassing to see work in print that agencies produce, showing that their people can’t write and the agency can’t proofread.

This was done by the Lee Tilford Agency. I think it’s well done myself.
