Pissed About Enfatico
September 29, 2009Slimadatico – New Dell Laptop
September 11, 2009“Dell introduces ultrathin Adamo notebook concept
As they say in the marketing biz, image is everything.
That’s why Dell Inc. unveiled a sneak-peek profile of its next stylish Adamo computer, the Adamo XPS, on Wednesday, 9/9/09.
The new Adamo is not yet a real product, but when that happens, it’s going to be very thin: 9.99 millimeters, which is a little less than four-tenths of an inch.
That would make it much thinner than the first Adamo introduced in March and thinner than the thinnest Apple MacBook.
The image Dell provided wasn’t a product launch. It was more of a peek at the design to come.
“At this point, it’s in the design concept phase and not ready to be launched as a product. I’ll be sure to keep you updated as that status changes,” said Lee Mokri, with Dell’s public relations firm, Enfatico.”

Enfatico Calls Adomatica
January 30, 2009At 8:32 tonight my phone rang. Mrs. Adomatica answered it, asked who was calling, and then made a strange face as she handed me the phone.
Me: Hello?
Enfatico: This is Enfatico. (In husky voice.)
Me: You’re Shitting me, right?
Enfatico: No, this really Enfatico and I’m calling to apologize to you.
Me: Really? For What?
Enfatico: We’re sorry that we wasted your time with phone interviews and face-to-face interviews. We’re sorry we failed to do any research on you to figure out that you were, in fact, responsible for the funniest things of 2008, Enfartico. We’re sorry we did not figure that out until after we extended you a job offer. We’re sorry that five days before you were scheduled to start we called to ask you if you were Enfartico and let you know that we would not going to bring you on board. I think we used the word subversive?
Me: Really? Wow.
Enfatico: Also, we have now realized that had we brought you on, it would have been the most positive news we could have ever released. Can you image how bringing you on bored would have shown our human side? Can you image how hip we would have looked? Geez, it might have saved the jobs of some certain big wigs at Dull..errr…I mean Dell. hehehahaha
Me: Funny you should say that. I was just thinking that myself.
(Awkward Silence)
Me: Anything else you want to tell me?
Enfatico: Off the record, I love your blog.
Me: Thanks, keep up the good ~work~. Feel free to call me anytime. Good night.
Enfatico: Good night and you keep up the good work too.
Ok, so Enfatico did not call me tonight, but Michael Roberts an account manager at Enfatico did call me to talk about about the 2009 Austin Addys.
