T3 Lands Microsoft Phone Business

T3 Sticks It to Enfatico

Ok…not really…but there is this:

“Geoff Mattie joined T3, Austin, Tex., as director for digital production. He had most recently been senior manager for global operations at Enfatico, now part of the Young & Rubicam Brands unit of WPP.”

T3 Hiring and Reverses Some Pay Cuts

“T-3 partially restored salary cuts yesterday for everyone except upper managment. 50% of what they cut in the Spring. Lee gaddis told people no real new business wins but good growth in client workload was the reason. They’re hiring too. One vp said they had definitly passed the worst of it.”

“Good T-3 news I heard From someone there. They started restoring pay cuts that they made earlier in the yr. Also a couple smaller new business wins they are not publicizing. Morale still bad but friend says it looks l.ots better now than January.”

T3 to Sell Whorehouse

Ad firm owners asking $10.5M for historic downtown property…Dolly Parton sauntered down its grand staircase in “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.”

**A few facts:

1. T3 had planned to sell this house long before their recent troubles started as they have the big cool brick building over on Lamar now.
2. As far as I know, the house was never an actual whorehouse before or since T3’s owning of it.

T3 Names a VP EMD

Adomatica would like to welcome Bryan Noguchi to the executive ranks of T3…and welcome to Austin if you happen to be moving here for this spot.

I’m not totally sure what this person is trying to tell me but here it goes:

“Schematic Austin is letting go of a creative director and senior UX person. This is partially because they are dropping the ball and losing a lot (if not all) of the Dell business. I’m sure you knew this, but are ignoring it because those guys are your buddies…maybe you are even holding out to work there or want to protect some of your sources.

Look, I have no problem with you taking shots at T3, Springbox GSD&M and Enfatico, but don’t play favorites. Be an equal opportunity offender and nut up jackass.”

I actually don’t know anyone at Schematic.

I’d love to get more feedback regarding this blog.

I’d like to know what news/events I am not covering so that I can cover them.
